2025年9月3日，天安門廣場。晨曦微露，萬眾肅立。

在中國人民抗日戰爭暨世界反法西斯戰爭勝利80週年這一歷史性時刻，廣場南北兩側的觀禮台以“豐饒金、城牆紅、橄欖綠”三色首次亮相。它們既如三個“人”字並肩而立，又共同構成一個意象化的“眾”字。而年號台上那一抹嶄新的“曙光紅”，更成為整場儀式中最溫暖而明亮的情感注腳。

作為這次活動一名設計師，我有幸參與了此次閱兵觀禮台和年號台的色彩設計工作。這段經歷，不僅是一次專業實踐，更是一堂深刻的歷史課、一場與民族記憶的對話。

色彩，是從歷史中走來的記憶

很多人問，為什麼是這三種顏色？色彩的選定從來不是憑空而來，它應扎根於文化、呼應於歷史、服務於主題。最初的構想，源自“三人為眾”的理念。三人成眾，眾志成城——這是中國人民在抗戰中所展現出的團結力量。而要視覺化地表達“眾”，最直接的方式就是用三種顏色來區分三個“人”字結構。

在翻閱大量歷史資料的過程中，一段往事深深打動了我：1955年，國家頒發“解放勳章”和“獨立自由勳章”，以表彰在抗戰中作出卓越貢獻的英雄。這些勳章的顏色——紅、綠、金——歷經七十年，依然熠熠生輝。它們不僅是個人榮譽的象徵，更是一個國家、一個民族的集體記憶。

於是，“豐饒金”“城牆紅”“橄欖綠”應運而生：豐饒金代表人民生活的富饒土地，寓意“根基在人民”；城牆紅代表人民鑄就的血肉長城，寓意“血脈在人民”；橄欖綠表達了愛好和平的中國人民和全世界愛好和平的人民一起維護和平、捍衛和平，寓意“力量在人民”。它們不是被“設計”出來的顏色，而是從歷史中自然生長出來的。

“曙光紅”是一縷連通過去與未來的光

在三大主色確定之後，年號台應當使用什麼顏色，成為思考的焦點。我們需要的，是一種既能禮贊歷史、又能寓意未來的顏色。於是，“曙光紅”誕生了。“曙光”，意味著光明之初現、希望之開啓。它是一種明亮而輝煌的紅，溫暖中帶著朝氣，象徵著中國人民從苦難中走向勝利的黎明時刻。“曙光紅”不是一個現成的色號，在標準色譜中找不到它的編號。但它是一種意象、一種感受、一種共識，顏色不在代碼之中，而在意境之內。

色彩是一種世界語言，更是一種中國表達

我們說“中國紅”，它不指某一種紅，而是一種精神、一種認同、一種融入血脈的文化符號。同樣，“曙光紅”“豐饒金”“城牆紅”“橄欖綠”也不只是顏色，它們是一個個故事的起點，是一段段歷史的回響，是一種無需翻譯的文化語言。我希望，當大家看到這些色彩時，不僅能感受到莊重與慶典的氛圍，更能讀到一個民族從苦難中走向光明、從歷史中走向未來的敘事。色彩是靜默的，但它所傳遞的情感與意義，卻能跨越語言與地域，直抵人心。

坐在自己設計的顏色里，坐在先輩調出的曙光中

9月3日當天，我作為觀禮嘉賓之一，坐在三色觀禮台上。那一刻，我忽然深刻體會到什麼是“眾”——是萬眾一心，是眾志成城，是無數個體的付出與堅守，疊成了這個國家最堅實的長城。我坐在自己參與設計的顏色中，也彷彿坐在先輩用鮮血與生命調出的曙光里。和平並非理所當然，而是代代中國人用信念與奮鬥換來的禮物。能站在天安門廣場，親證祖國的強盛與人民的團結，是我的榮耀。

色彩是沈默的。但它也在靜靜地訴說最深沈的中國故事。

謹以此文，致敬歷史，致敬和平，致敬每一個為之奮鬥的“人”。

On the morning of September 3, 2025, a hushed silence fell over Tiananmen Square at daybreak.

Marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the reviewing stands on the northern and southern sides of the square made their debut in three symbolic colors: "Bountiful Gold," "Wall Red," and "Olive Green." Their structures, resembling three parallel Chinese characters for "person" (人), collectively evoked the character for "multitude" (众). The newly introduced "Dawn Red" on the year-sign platform became the warmest and brightest emotional highlight of the entire ceremony.

As a designer involved in this event, I had the honor of contributing to the color design of the reviewing stands and the year-sign platform. This experience was far more than a professional assignment; it was a profound lesson in history and a deep dialogue with our nation's collective memory.

Color: A Medium of Historical Memory

Many have asked: Why these three colors? Color selection is never arbitrary; it must be rooted in culture, resonate with history, and serve the theme. The initial concept was inspired by the Chinese idiom, "three people form a multitude" (三人为众) — representing the united strength of the Chinese people during the war.

While researching historical materials, I was deeply moved by this account: In 1955, the state awarded the "Liberation Medal" and the "Independent Freedom Medal" to honor heroes who made exceptional contributions during the war. The colors of these medals — red, green, and gold — remain radiant even after seventy years. They are not merely symbols of personal honor, but also represent a nation's collective memory.

Thus, "Bountiful Gold," "Wall Red," and "Olive Green" were born:

Bountiful Gold represents the people's fertile land and prosperous life, symbolizing that "our foundation lies with the people."

Wall Red represents the Great Wall forged by the people's flesh and blood, symbolizing that "our lifeblood lies with the people."

Olive Green expresses the commitment of peace-loving people in China and around the world to safeguard peace, symbolizing that "our strength lies with the people."

These colors were not merely "designed" — they emerged organically from history itself.

"Dawn Red": A Ray of Light Connecting Past and Future

After finalizing the three main colors, the hue for the year-sign platform became a focal point. We needed a color that could both pay tribute to history and herald the future. "Dawn Red" was conceived. "Dawn" signifies the first light of day and the awakening of hope. It is a luminous and brilliant red, warm yet vibrant, symbolizing the dawning moment when the Chinese people emerged from hardship into victory. "Dawn Red" is not a pre-existing color code; it cannot be found on a standard palette. It is an essence, a feeling, a consensus— its meaning exists not in a formula, but in its evocation.

Color: A Universal Language, A Distinctly Chinese Expression

We speak of "China Red" — which refers not to a single shade, but to a spirit, an identity, a cultural symbol ingrained in our very veins. Similarly, "Dawn Red," "Bountiful Gold," "Wall Red," and "Olive Green" are more than just colors. They are starting points for stories, resonances of history, and a cultural language that transcends translation. I hope that when people see these colors, they not only sense the solemnity and celebration but also read the narrative of a nation progressing from hardship towards light, from history into the future. Color is silent, yet the emotions and meanings it conveys can leap over language and region (地域), speaking directly to the human heart.

Sitting Within the Colors I Designed, Sitting Within the Dawn Forged by Our Predecessors

On September 3, I sat as an honored guest within the three-colored reviewing stand. In that moment, I profoundly understood the meaning of "multitude" — it is the unity of millions, the collective resolve that built this nation's strongest bulwark, the sacrifices and perseverance of countless individuals. Sitting within the colors I helped design, I felt as if I were sitting within the dawn forged by the blood and lives of our predecessors. Peace is not a given; it is a gift earned through the信念 (conviction) and struggle of generations of Chinese people. It was my utmost honor to stand in Tiananmen Square and witness the nation's strength and the people's unity.

Color is silent. But it also whispers the most profound Chinese stories.

This reflection is dedicated to history, to peace, and to every "person" who fought for it.
